RPM has nothing to do with the SPA speedo setup. As far as using the
mile markers I always found that operating a stopwatch on a bike a
littlie difficult to do . Then you have to figure time & distance to get
speed & then figure the rolling circumference then convert to meteric
measurements .............
The SPA unit is real simple . One magnet that rotates at wheel speed .
It only needs to know the rolling circumfrence of the tire . Gearing or
rpm have no effect on calibration . This is real nice because you can
change tires & recalibrate the unit .
