Sounds like I struck a nerve, sorry Eric. I
was just saying how my light works.these bikes have small wiring [ gauge ] for
much current . maybe my bike has a problem. Battery is
new

would look real close at the battery. The battery is the accumulator in
my circuits .
I was trying to help you out . Seams that you do
not think that a high watt halogen will run in the Vmax . Just make sure that
your connections are good . There are many ahead of us that have for many
years been enjoying the 130 watt without any problems .

One easy way to tell if the lamp is
obtaining the necessary current is when you select high or low beam. If the
light is slow to get bright you have a current problem .Quartz lamps reach
full current very quick. some delay is always evident. these lamps are high
