------------------------------------------------------------------------To bleed air from the master cylinder you don't have to crack the bleeder. Just tap the lever DO NOT SQUEEZE, just tap it, and you'll see tiny air bubbles coming up, keep doing it until they stop.Subject: Re: [Vmax] brake woes

with mine, the lever is not doing much till you pull it in an inch or more.
Interestingly this only happened to me when I fitted the braided hoses. With
stock hoses I could bleed successfully and the first pull of the lever was
sharper in effect.
I'm going to bleed the master slightly by cracking the bolt at the master and
making a mess. I believe the problem is there. On the other hand after that
initial vague feel the calipers pull you up very well compared to stock ones and
even more smoothly. I did about 100 miles the way it is and I'm not totally
happy as I was with stock hoses on this setup. That's a new one for the experts
out there.
Anybody feel we still have a master with some air? Any other suggestions would
be welcome.
I did my ZX-11 master cylinder that way and works great, I have the braided lines and Nissin 4 pot calipers.
