The other thing to say "too" .. is that the ambient air pressure is
only 14.5 at sea level, (excluding a bunch of other factors), ........
and continues to go down as you go up, (know here as the "Phil"
phenomena .. or 12lb Phil etc ..) .... Also, CC may be making the
false assumption that the cylinder pressure equals outside pressure at
BDC before it begins it's trip back up to the top, (not likely and
this is why restricting the intake has such a profound effect on the
readings). Plus .. on long duration cams ... you have the intake
closing even later after BDC so we haven't even buttoned the hatches
down yet ..... wadda mess .. makes you brain hurt ..
