chain drive conversions do require more maintenance than shafts but there
are
some benefits.
1   my pcw mod has a solid 10" swingarm through bolt instead of the
stock
shaft pins, thus adding additional frame bracing.
2   rpm in top gear depending on sprocket size is 5K @ 95 mph
    off the line acceleration suffers a little but top end has more oomph
3   no more shaft effect. most noticeable when exiting corners.
4   Wider selection of wheels.


About that last one...  What (if anything) is the limiting factor on
wheel/tire widths once this mod is done?  Is a 200 series tire on a 6" wheel
do-able?
