You can remove the "Y" but DO NOT TRIM THE BOX COVER AND REMOVE THE HALF
MOONS!!! If you do this your bike will sputter, bark and complain at 5,500
RPMS on up. You have to do a stage seven mod for this to work. If you do
not believe me, just give me a call and I will prove it.
