I also have the Works shocks. Mine are stock length with the billet ARS
option. They may seem a bit over priced but consider the fact that I will
never have to buy another shock for my bike again as these can be rebuilt.
So I feel they are worth every penny spent.
As for the ride improvement, I can't say as I did all my handling mods all
at once (Race Tech Emulators & springs, billet fork brace, Works Shocks).
But the bike does track good now.
As for length, I would go with 1 inch over stock length. I went with stock
length and have issues with my Hindle smacking the ground when I enter the
corners hard.
