Bill I had been riding a Honda Interceptor not as extreme as a GSXR but as
far as handeling you must first get used to having your feet in a different
position slightly forward as opposed to rear . You do not have the same
ground clerance or lean angles and I would sugest some front shock work to
help out. My bike is a 2000 and I enjoy it verry much as does my wife once I
got the back rest or should I say wife stopper. You will feel as if you are
accelerating alot harder because of the upright and comfortable riding
position(except for those who dont like the seat which can be fixed for about
125.) you are also accelerating verry fast equal to the GSXR and about 200lbs
heavier. I would say buy the bike it has been around for 15yrs and alot of
aftermarket parts are available to change just about anything you may not
like it is being discontinued after 2001 and maybe something will replace it
similar to the 200!
2Honda VTX 1800cc twin (VTX 15,000 expected price) bottom
line it runs like a raped ape and works good bone stock but the only cruiser
with high performance.Hope this helps Tyler
