I've always been attracted to the Vmax, and have always loved the UJM. The
Suzi is my first bike with full body work, When i first saw her she did',nt
impress me much in raw form but I could not believe how light she was. The
years before suzi I rode a Kawasaki Zephyr 750. I loved that bike, I lowered
it painted it Candy apple red, put drag bars and a great big Autometer
Tachometer on her with a big 10" headlight off a GS1150. Anyone who saw her
loved it. and most thought it was a Z1. But she was crashed in a turn and I
got into cars for about a year while i healed up. Anyway i'll get a Vmax in
the next couple of months, I'd like a red one, so i won't feel the need to
paint it right away. Is there a certain year they were produced in that
color, Are there things I should look out for in the used market, I remember
something about the 85'shaving bad 2nd gears or something like that.
As alway thanks for the input.
