Comment #41 on issue 164 by jon.ronnenberg: Wrong order in Object properties interation
http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=164

I find my self agreeing with all parties, in that we should lobby the ECMA committee to change the specs, in light of Opera's resent change to Object iteration order and that Google (and Opera) should change their implementation to the de facto standard.

You can participate in the discussions about ECMAScript here: https://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/es-discuss

I realize that Browser vendor developers will have trouble convincing the eager marketing folks that this is the right decision (I hope this discussion have change the mind of the actual developers). I'm sure they will want to show % performance increase with all new releases, but sometimes developers just have to tell 'em - "fuck off".
Look here for inspiration if you feel inclined: http://xkcd.com/303/

Cheers
