>I attended my first gathering last summer.  It was interesting in that the 
group seemed taken back that we were "still working".  The main reason I have 
not participated is because the rallys don't seem to encourage family 
participation.  We "still have kids" at home and it would be really boring for 
them.

I am, however, interested in the VAC gatherings..... Seems like a more mixed 
crowd of younger and used to be younger.  And I think that will be the key, to 
put together events that attract all ages.  I've been doing the Airstream thing 
for a while now and I really enjoy helping those just starting out and I really 
learning from those like Pearl who have been around a long time.
