I joined the WBCCI last year had got a whole year of Blue Beret magazines
and my red numbers for my Airstream. I basically joined so I could be an
"official" member of the Vintage intraclub. I'll be switching my
membership to just the Vintage group as a "Friend" because the newsletter
is the only thing I was impressed with.
If I actually travelled, I might find the Membership Directory useful.
The Blue Beret to me was just full of event data I couldn't use. The
handful of articles aren't worth the overall membership fee IMO.
As far as joining a club or caravan, I come from Boy Scouts experience
where everyone works and sticks together as a team. Of course, you only
get out of a club as much as you put into it.
