A Unix / Linux shootout would be fun. Especially if people brought in cool hardware. I've got a POWER3 I could bring in with AIX, and if I could find some Tru64 disks I could bring in one of my Alphas. Nick F might be able to provide some IRIX goodness as well. I'd also be willing to present about an open source project called the 'gateway' ( http://gateway.sourceforge.net ). It's an open source application I'm helping develop at the Vermont Department of Taxes. Perhaps the presentation could lead into a discussion about open source in government? -Tom
