Cool, so Archana is buying a new car in such trying times, i am very happy!
Just one suggest, you must pick the Jaguar since we need to show some
solidarity for Tata's! What say?

Oh yeah. I will meet the GP...I am registered in the GP practice, where my
friend's husband practices. It's like a poly clinic--they are called surgeries
(no connection with operations). I am already booked for my Sinus CT Scan. Once
I get my car, I will join a gym, I have to take my road driving test. I
recently passed the theory test which was mad.
So taking baby steps towards reaching my goal :)

Wow, this is terrific, loot le mann, after all we are indians, heheheh!

Jokes apart, why don't you go and get a MRI done on your knee and then consult
a Ortho in your company! He may also show you the required exercises to get
read of your Bursa problem!

It is great. I have problem in my Bursa (some term)...By the way, I dont have
to pay a penny for my treatment. My CT scan for sinus is going to be free.
National Health Services is a public sector. health is provided by the
government and is free for all residents.
I have registered with my GP. I will show him this...X-ray and all is free. But
the medicines have to be bought after prescription and that is very expensive.
Till some recent past, prescribed medicines were also free but it proved to be
a burden to the state.
People have bypass surgeries done for free. Normal people do alternate day
dialysis for free for years together, something people like V P Singh could
afford in India..
By the way, I work with National Health Services.

Hmmm, i think you must first find out the cause for your knee pain! I know the
Ortho's in London will be expensive but if you have any body whom you can show
your MRI or X ray then it would help you to diagnose the problem first.
Depending upon your injury the doctor will suggest you the exercises. I have a
problem of menescus in my left knee which is not complex but irritating since
it troubles you if you have not fully stretched.

Yes, my strengthening exercises comprises by and large the stretching regime
which i was told to undertake by the doctors here. I dont know how to explain
to you in mail but they are fairly simple! I guess i will check out if i can
send you a link of some exercises which i do and you can take it from there. I
am happy that you got a bit motivated with my effort, this is the precise
reason for me being so loud in announcing what i did recently. It is infectious
actually, i got inspired from a friend of mine in the gym who ran last year and
after i ran there are already a few friends and my family members who have
vowed to join me for the next year's event! Isn't it great?

Take care!

Nayan, I want to know how did u strengthen your knee?...before and after. DId
it involve stretching exercise. I really want to overcome that..that's a major
hindrance to my athletic plan (which is currently dormant). Certificate is
looking cool.

It is official, i took 2.20.4 hrs and not 2.15 to complete the marathon! So, i
am a little more disappointed but its okey!

Arch, I kept strengthening my knee every time before the run and after, also
during my regular gym routine! So, the pain subsided and i could run without
any pain!

Chal bye!
