I have ben trying to put down a VASSAL hexgrid on to a map...lining it up and all that..with no luck :) No reasonable amount of map transformation will make it work. The upper left corner hex matches pretty well, but the rest is quite a ways off, and gets much worse going right across the map.
Could this be a hex size issue? Or something with the 'X' and 'Y' offsets? Note that I enable the hexgrid, but I check to not show it - instead I show the grid that I drew. By enabling the hexgrid in VASSAL, the counters will 'snap' to location within the hex, the LOS tool will function (if needed), and reporting will work where it will report that such and such piece moved from $oldlocation to $newlocation. > > Gary > Yahoo!
