Per your previous message, you had booted 2.6.31-21

So, You should be loading the vbox modules from the
kernel version you boooted. If you run
uname -r, it should tell you which kernel you have
booted into, and load the vbox modules from /lib/modules/2.6.31-21....

Which I have done, to no avail. It is not a big issue for me,
so I do not bother with it.

So, what happens when you click inside the window of rdesktop?
Does the guest grab the pointer or not?

I have been able to run FC12 as guest on FC12 host. No major problems.
Only super slow, because I installed the guest on a 16GB flash drive,
which was supposed to be a 210X speed flash drive. Well, I have been
fooled by the manufacturer's claims :)

I am surprised it crashes for you. Works fine for me, even on my old
athelon64 3200+ unicore cpu.

Cheers,
