Hello, Sorry to bring back again a used discussion, but I'm confused by what Google say.
I have a virtualbox server and I want to back it up. Preferably without stopping it and from the host (I know how to backuk any ordinary server). * Is there a VirtualBox internal command to do so? I see several I don't fully understand (clone, teleport...) - use from command line VirtualManage (to be able to script it). * if not, is it possible to make a snapshot and backup the snapshot files, in the goal to be able to restore the pre-snapshot state pretty easily. Given the goal is to replace a corrupted machine by the snapshot, the same UUID is better * any other idea? thanks jdd ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSA(R) Conference 2012 Mar 27 - Feb 2 Save $400 by Jan. 27 Register now! http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev2 _______________________________________________ VBox-users-community mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vbox-users-community
