I ran it on a mid 2009 MBP 5,4 which ran in 64bit. The version before it, 5,1
also runs in 64bit. I would think it if didn't like the EFI it wouldn't
install, but that's only a guess. That link to the chart for boot 64bit is a
new one to me. Guess I was fortunate to not run into the issue on mine.
Which model of Mac do you have?
