Right. The only ways to get an iso file are to download it on a non
windows system, or to generate an iso under windows using the windows
media creation tool.

Is the iso file mountable on a linux or windows system? On a linux
system, what does running:

isoinfo -d -i path_to_iso_file.iso

output? Is the guest system you're trying to install on configured to
boot from the virtual DVD drive?
