What did you exactly do, that is, which versions did you install?

There is a version conflict between different versions of the VirtualBox
kernel module. Did you mix Mandriva's shipped VirtualBox version 1.5.0
with VirtualBox 1.5.2?
If so please remove VirtualBox at first and please also remove any
virtual-kernel-* package.

What happens if you try to execute
rpm -e VirtualBox
as root?

Just for your info: I just installed
http://www.virtualbox.org/download/1.5.2/VirtualBox_1.5.2_Linux_x86.run
on a Mandriva 2008 installation. After I installed the kernel-devel package
there were exactly NULL problems, VirtualBox runs out-of-the box. The
kernel is 2.6.22.9-desktop586-1mdv.
We are really willing to help you but you should explain more detailed what
you tried to do (see above).
Kind regards,
Frank
