I have no idea what this guy is talking about, but here's my Virtualbox on
MDK 2008 experience:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] src]# urpmi virtualbox
To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed:
Package Version Release Arch
(medium "Mandriva Linux - 2008.0 (Powerpack64) - Installer")
virtualbox-kernel-2.6.22.9-de> 1.5.0 6mdv2008.0 x86_64
(medium "Main (Official2008.0-1)")
virtualbox 1.5.0 6mdv2008.0 x86_64
virtualbox-kernel-desktop-lat> 1.5.0 1.20071004.6> x86_64
(suggested)
13MB of additional disk space will be used.

It then runs perfectly.
I then uninstall everything virtualbox and vbox related, and install from
i386 rpm, with an abbreviated error log:

I can post the full error log if the above is insufficient.
I get the same thing from the x86_64 .run file.
