Hi all,

I recentely came across vpopmail and it looks quite interesting. I am
currentely running a webbased mail-service using a home-grown
configuration with exim/mysql/cyrus imap-server and twig. The problem
with this solution: It is not capable of handling virtual domains, which
I'd really like to change for now.

One possibility would be to extend my own solution and the other one
would be to use an already finished solution like vpopmail. Since
vopopmail is used by far more people than my thing, I think it may also
be more stable (and of course more scalable).

So, I'd really like to use vpopmail, but I have some problems/questions:

1) I'd like to stay with my cyrus imapd instead of Courier because I
know for sure it works with Outlook Express and Netscape Mail (which I
am using for myself). Reading the "BUGS"-File of courier showed me some
compatilibity-problems with (obviously corrupt) clients (that are
unfortunately wide-spread).

2) If integrating cyrus into vpopmail is not possible, and some tests I
run with Courier are positive: is it possible to migrate the
cyrus-mailboxes over to courier?

Many thanks.

Pilif
