Two threads of thought, firstly no new features does not mean no development effort is needed.. bug fixes and performance/scaleability improvements should bring at least a maintenance release at some time. Secondly it is fair that you personaly have no need for extra features but products that are to survive in the market place must meet the needs of its customers, is there any new features or improvements that they want? (and fit into the Velocity mind set of lean mean minimalism) eg enhanced number support and macros perhaps (pulled out of my head at random, treat as examples only).
