I don't really understand your point. I don't think anyone is arguing that Velocity *must* stand still and do nothing. I think we are all in agreement that we need to get the momentum going again, and that there's lots of people interested, and we're going to do it.
I guess there wasn't really a point to what I've said, maybe more of a what-if analysis (lopsided, incomplete and confusing, I admit). I want to stress the point that, even if I don't know whether this was a wake-up call or a call-to-arms, debate mobilizes action and in that sense it is good.
