Those port access needles with the needle near the front edge of the housing work best when accessing a dual lumen port. Those needles with the needle in the center of the housing are slightly more difficult when accessing a dual lumen port. Lynn

Hi All,

We are trialing various various safety non-coring needles for use with our ports. Can people share what they use and why they like or don't like it. One of the challenges we're wondering about is how well two fit side-by-side when the patient has a dual-lumen/dual-septum port.

Thanks, Maria
