Each additional
day reduces the potential success of the tPA, but there is no endpoint. I have
heard of ports, unused for 1 year, declotted and usable.

How long after clot formation
can tpa be used with reasonable success? I had a case today where 2 lumens
of a triple arrow had been clotted for about 5 days.
