Hi all, For those who would like to have the step-errorbars in their step-line plots, a following trick may be useful: Use the 'bar' error style, but with very wide bars with no caps (horizontal ends). See the sample attached. Unfortunately, this suits only the cases when the ordinate is evenly spaced.

Hi Jeremy,I've had a look at this. Unfortunately for determining lines / error bars needs quite a large reorganisation to make this work.I was going through the code and had the same impression... So it'll be great in whatever next release! Unfortunately for determining lines / error bars needs quite a large reorganisation to make this work. The error bar determination code doesn't know how to handle steps or bezier curves. It needs some sort of common make-a-line-path function which handles the various cases. I'll have to leave this for the next release or so, as will take quite a lot of time to think about the design and recode it. Jeremy
