Tony: I found my old hat pin from the SowBug and it was 2004. Me and my wife had a great time there and want to make it back again very soon. I had my Rotator Cuff operated on in Dec and have gone thru therapy. I am starting a strengthening program at home now so I should be good.
I follow all the posts and am glad that I can take some time and answer some of them now. I have a trip of a life time planned for Alaska in Sept. I have gotten out a bunch of recepie books and will start with the simple ones till I feel comfortable for Salmon flys. One of the books has Don Ordes mouse in it. Don't think I will be trying that one. It is one that my fishing buddy Gordon Mankins brought back from the FFF Conclave of 1995. It is called "Patterns of the Masters" and he surely belongs in there. Thank you, Alan Di Somma Phoenix, Mexico's second largest city.... ----- Original Message ----- From: Anthony Spezio To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, April 22, 2009 4:11 AM Subject: [VFB] Re: TEST Alan, I have also had a setback but am doing a lot better now. I am getting back to doing some fishing and tying. Not sure if it was 2003 or 04 but we hope to have you back again. It has been a long time since I have been able to post to the list. I had to change some settings in my Outlook Express in order to be able to post. It looks like I will be going to Alaska in Sept. to do some FF for trout and Grayling. It also appears that I may be able to fish for Salmon also. I have to get busy learing to tie all over again. I haven't tied much since the Sow Bug , I think it was in 2003 or 2004. Can't remember. Do you have any good Salmon recipies? Thank you, Alan Di Somma You have to get up every morning with a smile on your face and show the world all the love in your heart.
