Told me not to worry bout it and that he'd fix it that night..........which he did.................we were fishin' for steekhead up on the Lake Ontario tribs., way upstate N.Y. He "was" a famous guide, Fran Vertileva.....no longer guiding. He's now the River Keeper for the Salmon River and works for the Department of Enviournmental Conservation.
