i forgot to tell ya........it was my rod in the ceiling fan..........and my rod 
in the tree..........but it was the guides rod when i had my fly stuck in a log 
underwater.............a 10 ft. noodle rod no less that he had 
built...........he was VERY cool about it though....... Told me not to worry 
bout it and that he'd fix it that night..........which he 
did.................we were fishin' for steekhead up on the Lake Ontario 
tribs., way upstate N.Y. He "was" a famous guide, Fran Vertileva.....no longer 
guiding. He's now the River Keeper for the Salmon River and works for the 
Department of Enviournmental Conservation. Needless to say, i tiped him WELL.
