It wasn't here, it was up on the Minnesota side of the Boundary Waters 30 years ago. I was flinging a beetle spin in top of lily pads & dropping it into open water trying to catch dinner on a camping trip. I thought I had a northern until I got it close to the canoe. It was a little bigger than a dinner plate, 3 lbs 14 ozs according to the spring scale. Biggest I've caught on a fly rod was a pound 12 ozs, but still a lot of fun on a 5 wt.
