My memory isn't all that good.  My wife keeps reminding me of that.

I forgot the HUGE black hackle he palmered on top of the chenille of the Calacsieu Pig Boat before he added the rubber legs.

And my book is the 2nd edition, the one without the spinner. I think he decided that the spinner didn't add that much and actually fouled in the rubber skirt. But that was 30 years ago when he demonstrated it so I'm proud I remember as much as I do.

Tom Nixon was a wonderful, salt-of-the-earth type person who is severely missed by those of us who were fortunate enough to know him.
