That fish that broke you off on the Chili Pepper might of been a Carp. I had six break me off one day on Crooked Creek all on Chili Peppers. I also had them break me off other times. One I was able to see was I would guess a yard long.. I got about spooled on one of them all on Chili Peppers except one, that one straightened the hook on a sz 12 fly.
