My fishing was slow this year for known reasons. One of my grandkids
took me out for fishing. Well, this 4 year old asked my a couple of

precise. He is now eager to ty some flies with me.
Tying season is ahead of us, so I'll intend to stock my boxes with my
hoppers, the blue (parachute) beetle and some EHCs.

Gudebrod went out of business after losing a conract to supply
dental floss which it seems was keeping the company going. I lose
track of time but it must have at least 5 or more years ago. I
recently restored a Hardy split-cane rod and used a new spool of red
Gudebrod thread that I had but I ran out before finishing the rod
and had to pay a small fortune for 2x100 yard spools of scarlet
thread to finish the job and repace what I had used.
