Don't lay the blame where it don't belong, bait fishermen are not the problem, the problem is lack of respect.

Del, you need to pay a hell of a lot more attention the next time you're walking around a lake or stream.  I could be wrong, but I don't think flyfishermen, or even hardware fishermen, use rainbow powerbait!  Perhaps you'ld like to explain why on a club cleanup project around a lake in eastern central Nevada my garbage bag was half full of styrofoam worm containers, Pautzke's Balls-of-fire jars,  Berkley powerbait jars, and beer & pop cans?(funny how that works, where there's a powerbait jar, there'll be beer cans in the immediate vacinity...)  Now if you're going to bitch that I don't know for sure who left the beer and pop cans, well, I guess technically you'ld have me on that one, but I should remind you that people have been sent to prison for life based on something called circumstantial evidence... We all know damn good and well who left the beer & pop cans there!  It was the sa e imbecile who left the powerbait jar there!!!  Sometimes I'll have a cool one when I get back to the truck, but nobody finds MY empty cans by the side of the lake!!!  I would hope that some of your respectfullness rubs off on other bait fishermen, because reality would dictate that there are plenty of them who need to clean up their act!  And as far as God goes, I think he expects us to be smart enough not to leave stuff all over HIS place...!  :-)
