Jimmy, You may notice a distinct difference between how a level furled section and a tapered furled leader turns over. The ones I fish on my 4wt have 14 strands of 6/0 Uni at the butt end, and 6 strands at the tip where the mono tippet attaches. On my 6wt line, the leader starts with 22 strands of Uni, tapering down in steps or two strands down to 6 at the thin end. They turn over in an awesome fashion! Cheers, Hans PS Is this the longest running topic ever on VFB or what? ;-)
