Pretty long topic, Hans.  But I don't think it has "rod spines" beat quite
yet.  What I don't understand about the tapered furl leader is how the ends
of the different tapers tuck in so that they don't hang out and look like
fiberglass shards.  I know that's gonna take some long-winded explaining, so
if you don't mind, Splain it to me off list.
