Throw away the old stuff, clean off the wraps with
denatured alcohol or white vinegar. Get some flex
coat in the syringes and mix more than you need.
That should solve the problem.
If you get some bubbles in the epoxy, pass a hair
dryer over the wrap while it is turning.
The air will warm up and burst the bubble.
It will give it a smooth shiny finish.
