Hi Jim-

I don't think I'd worry too much about it if you're
just wading on the state side of the river. It seems
to be mostly driftboaters on the islands that they're
targeting. If I hear anymore about it, I'll let you
know.

I was out on the Deschutes last Tuesday morning and
saw one salmonfly and one goldenstone each. Caught the
salmonfly and tossed him in to see what would happen.
No takes, but with the slightly warmer weather the
past few days, things may pick up. The owner of the
local shop was on the river from Weds til today, I'm
gonna try and catch up with him tomorrow and see how
he did. Will let you know.

Take care and good fishing.

                         -John

=====
The River-
You passers-by, who share my journey,
You move and change,I move and am the same;
You move and are gone, I move and remain.
