Hi List Well, I've got a choice and I'm having trouble making a decision, so I thought I'd seek professional help. :) My wife is buying me a new trout rod for my birthday - I have a choice between a St Croix Legend Ultra and the Avid series. I've cast both, and for the life of me, I think the Avid casts "better" than the Legend Ultra. This may be due however to my casting "style" (or lack thereof). I'm wondering if the Legend Ultra would ultimately be a better choice as my casting skills improve. I also like the looks of the Legend Ultra FAR better than the Avid, but that is really secondary. Comments anyone?
