This isn't the first time I've heard this comment. Other people have told me they live the Avid better.
Having said that -- I have two Legend Ultras -- a 6 wt and a 5wt -- 4 pieces. The 6wt Legend Ultra is the rod I use most often -- more than my Sage or Loomis rods -- I love the action.
