Ken,

Try Bluewater Flyfishing by Trey Combs-  Lots of stories and how to's.
From steelhead to Marlin, Pacific style.  No Tarpon.  Has jacks, albies, tuna.

If you've never fished the salt, or don't even intend to, it's still adventursome reading.
If you do intend to fish the salt, it's a "must-have" in your collection.

Subject: [VFB] Books

Hi all...

Does anyone out there have recommendations on fly fishing books to read -- not neccesarily "how to" books, but books about the adventure and art of fly fishing.        eg.  the Compleat Angler, Vermont River, Lines on the Water, A River Runs Through It, etc etc etc.

I've asked it before and have read many of the books recommended to me.

However, I realize there are new people on the list -- so if anyone would care to provide me with a list of some of their favorite fly fishing books -- I would appreciate it.

And thanks to all who have already made recommendations to me.

I find the choices at most stores are limited -- so I end up ordering most of them on line.

Thanks
