Maybe I could get some suggestions from some of you. What if anything do
you coat your mylar and metal tinsel streamer bodies with. It seems to me
the fish would destroy these with one bite if you don't coat them in some
way.

I dont coat most of mine at all. When I do I use clear nail polish. I have to admit that I have gotten some neat results this way though. If you want, I have a few spare soft hackles laying around that I could send that I have done this with.
