<PRE>I've been saving this secret for myself , but what the ____, I'll share. I
use a brand of nail polish called "Jane" nail color, available at the K-Mart
here in Fernandina Beach, FL. The color is 23 voltage, it's the "sparkleiest"
silver I've ever seen. Sometimes I coat the entire fly head, sometimes I
build a body from thread and coat each layer to the desired size. I have not
tried coating a mylar body built from tube. This stuff is hard to find and
usually doesn't stay on the shelf, so I buy it when I can. I tie an imitation
"greenie", using green peacock herl, silver flashabou, and "voltage" coated
body that absolutely gets smashed by Spoted Sea Trout, Red Drum, Jacks,
Bluefish, Sharks, and Ladyfish. It should work on Tarpon if I tied it larger.
