Kevin,
Thanks for your advice. I just learned how to tie glo-bugs a couple of
weeks ago by using your advice: I walkied into a fly shop in Branson, MO
and asked someone to show me how to tie those things.
>From the looks of how it was done, I was sure it was one of those state fair
veg-a-matic things - you know, "it slices, it dices, it . . ." whatever.
But when you get it home, you soon discover it takes months of practice to
do it the way the demonstrator did it.
The bad news is, I was right. The good news is it gets a lot easier once
the fingers learn a few new moves!
That is great advice; advice which I will use. I live about an hour and a
half from the nearest fly shop - don't get to frequent any one very
frequently. It WILL be my regular habit from now on to do several things:
    1. Pick up a specimen fly
    2. Ask for a quick demo to tie a fly which unknown to me.
Thanks again,
Doug
