I agree on the older Mustad hooks, I have about 50 of the old original boxes ( Pre Plastic) of hooks. These hooks are good hooks. Most are in the original wax paper wrap, saving them for some collector down the line. The boxes are worth more than the hooks. Back in the forties when I started tying, Mustad hooks were about 50 cents or less a box, I used to buy "Life Guard" hooks, they were 25 cents 100. I found two boxes of the Life Guard hooks in my stuff a few months ago. They will also eventually go to collectors. Tony [EMAIL PROTECTED]
