1. In the end, its not going to be less expensive than buying, will it? ( this would be my first attempt at it, so I have no equipment, tools, supplies, etc.)
2. I saw a kit for a St. Croix 9ft, 9 wt, 2pc, for 139.99 - that sounds cheaper, and I believe that's a quality mfr, . . . but then there is the money for the "stuff." Anyone ever buy one of these kits? . . . how did it turn out? . . . . etc, etc, ?
