I had Tony help me find the spline on the rod I built. In the reading I have done the spline seems to be important to allthe folks that have written on it inthe the years past.
I don't know about the new blanks, that may have changed things. Anyway it was fun to build and catch a fish on the rod I built with a fly that I tied. Besides i trust tony as he has built alot more rods thatn I have thought about in my dreams. Rick
