There are a few head cements on the market that do this.  I use a product from Waspi someone gave it to me and the label is destroyed.  I'll let someone else shed light on that one.  The other product I have is Veniard's Cellire Clear varnish.  I suspect most people use Sally Hansen Hard as nails found at your local Walmart.  It is for looks and puts a very nice finish on your flies. Is that for photographic purposes only?  Let's say the tier is tying 25 flies.  Does that mean that all flies are tied THEN the epoxy is added?  Or is there some sort of head cement that I am missing out on?  The cement I use penetrates really well, locks the thread down tight - but does not achieve that glossy look. Any insights to this? Doug
