I second Mark's comments. 10+ years of hard use and my Folstaff is still
going strong and as trustworthy as ever. Wading staves are not a product
to take chances with. While homemade non-folding staves can be both
strong and inexpensive, I used to find reasons not to carry mine because
of the inconvenience, thus making it worse than useless. The convenience
of the Folstaff means it's always there when I need it. Cheers,
