I also use Fly Patterns of Alaska and Fly patterns of British Columbia..amazing how many of those flies apply to the trout and pike I fish for here in the USA. One of my all time favorite fly pattern books is Tim Helliksons..comes in two volumes, and Erick Leiser's. I noted that Steven Probosco has a favorite patterns book out, but in looking at it, saw no new patterns, just rehashing of the old favorites that could easily be found on the web. Just my 2 cents worth. Joyce
